I needed a good fine mesh strainer for my kitchen and this one is exactly what I needed. Its stainless steel so it doesn't rust or corrode and its dishwasher safe so cleaning it after use is easy. This strainer is perfect for straining cooked pasta, vegetables, and gravy. I also use it to strain cooking grease when I pour it back into the can from out my deep fryer. Its very fine holes catch all the food crumbs floating in the grease. The handle has a nice thumb grip on it to make it easy to handle when its full of heavy noodles.
