It charges fully in just a few hours and one charge will open up to 40 bottles of wine so it is quite energy efficient. There's a nice foil cutter that cuts the metal foil easily off a bottle and stores easily on the back of the charging stand. And this opener also comes with a nice wine pourer/stopper that is rubberized so it fits snugly in the bottle and keeps your wine fresh and easy to pour. 

I love how this electric wine opener operates because it is just so easy. It has a up and down two button design that is simple and easy to use. You just place the opener on top of the wine bottle to open and press the down arrow button. The corkscrew inside the opener will grab and dig into the cork. Then you press the up arrow button and the opener gently pulls the cork out of the bottle. One more push from the down arrow button the release the cork from the opener corkscrew and you're all done. What I love best besides it making this task so, so much easier is that there's no bits of cork down in my glass of wine. And with the stopper you can just throw out the cork completely.
