I'm a lefty so it can be difficult to find a good pair of pruning shears that are comfortable for a left hander to use. These are really comfortable to hold and use and perfect for both left and right handed people. They are almost effortless to squeeze and the blades are nice and sharp so it cuts even thick rose bush stems effortlessly. The red handle is kind of rubberized so it makes it easy to grip and hope even when you're wearing gardening gloves. There's a nice lock on the handles that locks them together. The handle lock is also easy to lock and unlock unlike other shears I've used. The Teflon coating on the handle and blades is nice so plant and tree sap and other sticky stuff doesn't gum up the shears. I have carpel tunnel and most gardening tools are hard for me to use or I have to use both hands to squeeze them closed and these close so easily I can use them with one hand and no pain. I am very happy with these shears they make trimming my rose bushes a lot easier. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased review of it.
