I went looking for a way to make my veggies taste better and be crisp instead of wilted and limp. Also I'm always looking for ways to save money and buying the frozen veggies in the steamer bags can get pricey. So when I seen this I had to have it. It works by placing your veggies inside the steamer and placing it in a pot of boiling water. It's easily removed when your veggies are finished cooking with the sturdy central ring. So far I've made carrots, broccoli, and steamed cauliflower and its all been crisp and delicious. The steamer can be placed right in the dishwasher so cleanup is easy. I have a small kitchen with limited cabinet and storage space and this steamer is collapsible so it doesn't take up much space which is another great feature about it in my book.
