I've been a dog owner nearly all my life and I've used all kinds of dog grooming brushes and this by far is the best. The flexible head makes it easy to brush your pet all over their body. Because let's face it a dog or cats body is not flat it has twists and turns. I love the 2 sided design of one brush head being for deshedding and the other for raking. I own 2 short haired dogs and the deshedding side of this brush works great at combing all the way through their short thick fur. It removes a lot of the loose fur and both dogs absolutely love when its time to be brushed. I've also noticed a lot less dog hair on the furniture and on the floor from regular usage of this brush. I usually brush both dogs 3 to 4 times per week. This really helps cut down on the need to vacuum and keeps my home a lot cleaner. My mother owns a Golden Retriever and the rake side of this brush works great for her long haired dog. It gets all the way through the long, thick fur and holds the loose fur securely in the teeth of the rake until you remove it to throw it away. This is great because now the fur doesn't get all over when she's brushing her dog. It also helps her remove large tangles from her dog's long hair.
