These pruning shears are really easy to use and have nice sharp blades that easily cut through tree or brush limbs up to an inch thick. I have smaller hands and I'm left handed so it is difficult to find a pair of pruning shears that are easy for me to operate. These fit my hands perfectly and are really easy to use. So far I've used them to prune my mature rose bushes and several other bushes in my yard. It worked great on everything I used it on and best of all my hands didn't hurt after using these pruners like others I've used.
