This clock has a nice large display that's easy to read. The hands on the clock glow a little at night making it easier to check the time even in low light. The clock is powered by 1 AA battery and the battery is inserted easily in the back of the clock. There's also a small dial on the back for you to adjust and set the time. The clock has painted on numbers for the time, military time, and second reading. The face of the clock is covered with a actual glass panel and the frame is thick metal that doesn't bend so the clock is strong and sturdy made. It makes a great accent piece for any room, I have mine hanging in my living room and I love it because I can see what time it is no matter where I'm standing or sitting in the room.
