Ohio Renaissance Festival
Located on 30 acres in between Cincinnati & Dayton Ohio
This scary looking castle housed a walkthrough of medievil punishment and torture. We were sure glad we didn't live back in 1572 England after seeing how your were punished for commiting crimes. Scary stuff but also fun to look at and learned a few things. It almost felt like walking through a haunted house. It does cost $3 per person to enter but it was well worth it. No photography is allowed inside so you'll just have to check it out for yourself if you dare!!
We seen the Queen walking by several times during our visit and again when we watched a game of human combat chess. We also seen a wedding procession marching by of a couple getting ready to say their "I dos". If you're planning on getting married be sure to check out the wedding packages offered at the Ohio Renaissance festival!
Check out this giant slide that can even accomidate an adult! It looked like a ton of fun for both young and old.

We had an awesome view of the full armoured jousting on houseback. These guys really do joust! This was one of my favorites to watch.
Yes that's me in the stocks....you know me always getting into trouble!!

These 2 performers were so entertaining to watch the Kamikaze Fireflies. Did you know they were featured on America's Got Talent? These performers did stunts like balancing on 5 chairs, the German wheel, hula hooping with hoops on fire, and other stunts. Their trick and humor had us laughing and on the edge of our seats. Be sure to catch their performance if you go.
While we were walking around admiring the crafts and other shops we stumbled upon this Game of Thrones inspired iron throne. So of course we had to take turns getting our photos sitting on the throne.
The food at the Ohio Renaissance festival is spectacular there's so much to choose and the portions are fit for a king. There's giant turkey legs, steak on a stake, soft pretzels, hot dogs, pickles, pizza, ice cream, chicken fingers, loaded fries, hamburgers, and my favorite the funnel cake. Some newbies I seen this year were deep fried twinkies, homemade fudge, and falafel. There's something for every appetite.
