I have a very slick, shiny bathtub especially right after I clean it. I've tried tub stickers before but they either peel off or get mold under and around them. This bath mat is really large it covers two thirds of the bottom of my tub. The suction cups stay in place too as long as you clean your tub before you lay it down. It also doesn't get nasty with soap scum or mildew. And its nice to stand on when you're taking a shower because it cushions your feet from the hard tub floor. Now I don't have to worry about slipping in my tub and banging my legs against the side of the tub when getting in. This has left bruises and lumps on my legs that are really painful.
