I love candles but they can be messy and dangerous. They can be tipped over just by you or your pet bumping into a table or counter that a lit candle is sitting on and then a fire can start. Or you can be burned by hot wax or it can ruin your furniture or floors. Also wicks get too long and start to smoke causing soot to stain your walls or furniture. So I switched to battery powered candles to avoid all this hassle. This set comes with 24 votive sized candles, 24 batteries, and a remote to control the votives. The batteries are easy to install you just open the little door on the bottom of the candle and insert the battery. The candles also have a on and off switch underneath them as well. The candles flicker and look and feel just like real candles. They are nice and bright and look great. I have several on my mantel and they are gorgeous. I plan on using a few to decorate with for my Christmas display later this month. The batteries in them last for a really long time and the replacement batteries are very inexpensive to replace.
