I have an all black Pug and when I walk him at night in my neighborhood he is all but invisible. That makes me worry that if he pulled the leash out of my hand he could get lost. Or people and cars might hurt him if they didn't see him. This leash lights up and stays nice and bright throughout our walks. The handle on the leash is padded so its comfortable for my hands to hold and grip. The leash clip that clips to his collar is nice and heavy duty so it doesn't bend. The leash recharges with the included USB cable so there's no having to buy hard to find batteries. I'm very happy with this leash and happy my dog is a lot safer now at night.
